Summary
Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of morbidity and mortality in males in worldwide. It’s known that expressions of the six transmembrane proteins of prostate, STAMP1, STAMP2 increases in prostate cancer. LNCaP is a commonly used prostate cancer cell line derived from a lymph node metastasis, it is described as androgen sensitive. We aimed to investigate effects of feding panel (starvation, obesity) on STAMP1 and STAMP2 expression. And at the same conditions PHOX expression was also investigated.
