Summary
Nowadays, animation filming has become a very important industry. Animation film, which has a separate application area from live film production, contains many processes that all require different technological knowledge and skill levels. One of the most decisive stages for digital animation in these processes is the character design process that takes place in the pre-production stage. Because the basic concept of each animation project and the application style of this concept are determined at the character design stage. All decisions regarding the creative process should include decisions that are very important to the success of character design, and each should have a supportive and complementary feature. Character design has a cultural dimension beyond the technical and aesthetic dimensions. Due to this importance, character design will be handled in this project with its technical, aesthetic and cultural dimensions in animation film, which has become a remarkable production and examination area. In addition, character designs and a sample animation from character designs will be carried out in line with the researches.
