Summary
<p>The aim of this thesis is to get an idea about the clinical usage and chemical behaviour of the "Monolithic Zirconia" material, which has a very popular place among prosthetic restoration materials in dentistry in recent years in terms of clinical indication and scientific research. Samples of the shape and size suggested in previous scientific publications will be prepared by milling, and then they will be divided into groups according to the different finishing and polishing methods applied. This phase is similar to preparing a restoration for the patient's mouth. Then, surface profile tests, contact angle measurement will be performed on the samples. Following physicochemical aging, which allows to imitate a certain wear in the oral environment, these measurements will be repeated and the results will be evaluated statistically.</p>
