DESIGN, PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCE TESTS OF THE WIND PHOTOVOLTAIC HYBRID POWER SYSTEM MOBILE CHARGER
Project no. 624 · Status: Kapanmış · 2017
Summary
The share of solar energy and wind energy conversion systems in electricity energy production is increasing day by day. The ever increasing electricity energy prices in our country and the increasing demand for energy in this way make the energy obtained from fossil fuels more expensive by traditional methods. Nevertheless, the high solar and wind energy present in our country's position are projecting as a potential, ready-to-evaluate resource. As a result of the work done by scientists and foresight, it turns out that there are more than 500 GW potential photovoltaic power plants and wind power plants near this value too in our country. Until 5 years of photovoltaic installed power in Turkey in total while in a few MW range, the value today of 7000 MW (7GW) has reached the value and gradually increasing with new plants commissioned by the day. The situation is similar for wind power plants and the total installed power has reached 8,500 MW (8.5GW). A proposal for a solution to the problem of charging in electronic devices that have an important place in our daily life has been developed especially in the project where there is no mains electricity. In this context, a portable prototype wind - photovoltaic hybrid power system bag with photovoltaic panel and small scal wind turbine was designed, produced as a prototype, performance tests were carried out and its applicability in practice was demonstrated.
