Determination of Pirimicarb in Waters by Zeolitic Imidazole Frameworks ZIF

Project no. 22413 · Status: Kapanmış (Yayın bekleniyor) · 2021

Summary

In order to analyze trace amounts of pesticides used as plant protection products in water, zeolitic imidazole frameworks (ZIF-8), which are an important branch of metal organic frameworks (MOF), and magnetite ZIF (M-ZIF-8) were synthesized and the determination of pirimicarb in water was carried out. The synthesized ZIFs are scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersion spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), attenuated total reflection – Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) and It was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS). Analytical parameters such as pH, sorption time, amount of adsorbent, elution solvent and time, preconcentration factor, which affect the efficiency of ZIF-8 and M-ZIF-8, have been optimized. The determination of pirimicarb from water samples with ZIF-8 and M-ZIF-8 was performed by high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight-mass spectrometry (LC-Q-TOF-MS). According to the results obtained from this study, ZIF-8 and M-ZIF-8 are fast, efficient, and useful adsorbents for the extraction and determination of trace amounts of pirimicarb in water matrices.
