Development of Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) Integrated Air Conditioning and Hot Water Preparation System
Project no. 1381 · Status: Kapanmış · 2017
Summary
Within the scope of this project, the design, installation and experimental analysis of the Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) Integrated Air Conditioning and Hot Water Preparation System were carried out. This system can perform many functions such as electricity generation, space heating, space cooling and hot water storage for use. In addition, this system can be used all year round in different seasons and modes (heating mode and cooling mode). As a result of the analyses, it has been observed that PV/T collectors generate up to 24.76% more electricity per hour than PV panels. It has been determined that the coefficient of performance obtained by using the heat pump integrated with the PV/T collectors is higher than the heating coefficient of performance of the heat pump, ranging from 2.12% to 16.81%. Experimental analyzes of the IP-PV/T integrated system were performed on different days and in different modes and as a result of hourly evaluations, the utilization rate obtained from the system ranged from 0.771 to 2.609.
