Summary
<p class="MsoNormal">Raw milk constitutes raw materials of numerous important foodstuffs. Conservation of raw milk by cooling until processing is a very common method. Performance of milk cooling used for this purpose, is directly or indirectly related to milk quality, enterprise capacity, milk selling strategy, energy requirement and productivity of enterprise. To determine technical specifications of milk cooling tank and to evaluate its performance, national and international standards were used. Having a proper technical values and suitability of these values to the standards are very important.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="zetmetin" style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:27.95pt;margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-left:27.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-indent:0cm;tab-stops:-153.0pt"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">In this study, detailed introduction of proper milk cooling tank experiments according to the standards, their conditions and their evaluations are aimed. For this purpose, beside the introduction of department’s experimental laboratory for farm type milk cooling tank, applied experiments and their evaluations were described.<o:p></o:p></p>
