Özet
Tomris KABAKÇIIn this study, we measured serum levels of drculating immune complexes in 27 patients with systeınic lupus erythematosus and in 10 healthy subjeds using nephelomei:ric assay and determined whether there was any correlation with disease adivity.Disease adivity.Disease adivity was assessed according to Lupus Adivity Index system .. The serum levels of drculating immum~ complexes were found signifkanHy higher in patients than control sub~ jeds (7.22 ± 2.85 ı.ıglml and ı1.24 ± 0.68 respedively).Clinkally active patients were also found to have signifkantly higher levels than those dinically inadive (8.19 ± 2.7 ı.ıg/ml and 6.03 ± 2.5 Jlg/ml respectively).H was conduded that the measurement of drculating immune complexes might be helpful to assess disease activity in systemic lupus eırythematosus.
