Özet
The inheritance of harvest index was studied by the Jinks-Hayman type diallel analysis in a 6x6 wheat diallel cross population. The inheritance of harvest index was under the control of additive and partially dominant gene action. The positive and significant associations were found between harvest index and plot yield, thousand kernel weight, spike length and number of tillers.
