Aim: The issue plasminogen activator (t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) have important roles in proteolytic events in periodontitis. The aim of this study was to investigate TPA and PAI-1 gene polymorphisms in relation to susceptibility to generalized aggressive periodontitis (G-AgP).
