<p>A 16-year-old boy was referred to our hospital for hepatosplenomegaly and pancytopenia</p><p>with the suspicion of inborn metabolic disorders like Gaucher’s disease.</p><p>Past medical history revealed cervical abscess in infantile period, an axillary abscess</p><p>at the age of 10, and necrotizing pneumonia at the age of 14 years. He was the sixth</p><p>child of healthy nonconsanguineous parents with 10 live births. One brother</p><p>deceased because of recurrent pulmonary infections.</p>
