On the Relation between the Carhaci Unity and the Carha Battle/Formation

Summary
<p><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Carhaci units, which consisted of chosen soldiers, has been used in the army of the Ottoman Empire after the dismissing of the Azabs to fill the empty spaces on the front lines. However, it is difficult to find studies on this unit if we compare the information between Carhaci unit and the other regiments although there are many passages about them in sources. In so far as, early periods and the development stages of this regiment were not handled in the studies. This article focuses that the specific problem regarding the carhaci unity. According to the problem, which is firstly mentioned by Abdulkadir Ozcan, there is not any information or theory for relation between Carhaci units and the Carha term. In this context, our study is aiming to examine this question, define its framework and list the possible answers with new perspectives.</span><br></p>
