Özet
An investigation on some of the characteristics of the net cage systems of fish farms in Turkish seas whose annual productions are 100 tonnes and over.In this study, net cage systems used in 49 fish farms in Turkish seas have been investigated in detail in terms of many criteria by seperating them to different regions.As a result, the most common cages among a total of 3084 cages are 5x5 m square wooden, and polyetylen cages having dimensions of 12 and 16 m.The most common nets used in these cages have been found to be knotless nets.
