Özet
<p>IMMIGRATIONS FROM EUROASIA TO AMERICA: THEORIES ON MELUNGEON</p><p>COMMUNITY</p><p>AVRASYA’DAN AMERİKAYA GÖÇLER: MELUNCAN TOPLUMUNA DAİR TEORİLER</p><p><br></p><p>ÖZET</p><p>Tarih boyunca göçler dünyada ve onun üzerinde yasayan insanları etkileyen çok büyük</p><p>olaylara sebep olmuştur. Bu göçler içerisinde büyük değişikliklere neden olan göçlerden bir</p><p>tanesi de Amerika kıtasının Avrupalılar tarafından 15. Yüzyılda keşfi sonrasında yaşanan</p><p>göçlerdir. Bu göçler içerisinde dikkate değer göçlerden bir tanesi de Avrasya denilen coğrafyada</p><p>Avrupa ve Asya’yı ve bu alan içerisindeki insanları, milletleri içine katan Amerika`ya yapılan</p><p>göçler ve bu göçler sonucunda Kuzey Amerika`da oluşmuş topluluklardan Meluncan</p><p>toplumudur. Bu doğrultuda Avrasya’dan Amerika’ya göçler sonucu oluşan Meluncan</p><p>toplumunun oluşumu ve bu oluşumlar sonucu tanımlanmasına dair teorilerin ele alınması</p><p>topluluğun kendisi ve Avrasya bağının anlaşılması çerçevesinde önem arz etmektedir.</p><p>Göçler sebebiyle oluşan Meluncanların, Amerika kıtasının keşfinin hemen sonrasında</p><p>oluşan kolonilere de bağı olmasi sebebiyle göçleri anlayabilmek için göç ve göç çalışmaları</p><p>üzerine teorik bilgiler sunulacaktır. Ardından göçlerin olduğu dönemlerde Avrasya’daki</p><p>toplulukların, milletlerin ve Kuzey Amerika’da var olan toplulukların ve oluşmaya başlayan</p><p>toplulukların durumlarını anlayabilmek için göçlerin olduğu dönemlere dair tarihsel bilgiler</p><p>verilecektir. Bu bilgileri takiben ise Meluncan topluluğun tanımını ve oluşumunu anlamak için</p><p>topluluk ile bağlantılı Avrasya coğrafyasından Amerika’ya göç etmiş topluluklar ve milletlere</p><p>dair bilgiler ortaya koyulacaktır. Bu bilgilerin ışığında, Meluncan terimin ortaya çıkısı, anlamı ve</p><p>de Meluncanlara dair farklı teorilere dair hâkimiyet oluşabilmesi için topluluğa dair ortaya</p><p>koyulmuş tanımlar, tanımlamalar ve de toplumun oluşu ve gelişimine dair ortaya koyulmuş</p><p>teoriler irdelenecektir. Böylece Avrasya’dan Amerikaya olan göçler, bu göçler doğrultusunda</p><p>oluşan topluluklardan Meluncanlar ve bu oluşum ve topluluğa dair teoriler ve tüm bunların</p><p>Avrasya coğrafyası ile Amerika coğrafyasına ilgi ve etkisi ortaya koyulacaktır.</p><p>Sonuç olarak, Kuzey Amerika ve Avrasya’yı ilgilendiren göç, coğrafya ve topluluk</p><p>üzerinde durulacaktır. Tüm bu olgular çervevesinde oluşmuş Meluncan toplumu üzerine</p><p>odaklanılacak ve Meluncanların tanımlanması ve teorileri üzerine değerlendirmeler yapılacaktır.</p><p>Böylece tüm bu bilgiler ve değerlendirmeler ışığında Meluncanlar bağlamında Avrasya ve</p><p>Kuzey Amerika coğrafyasını ilgilendiren göçün etkisi ve sonucu bu topluluk üzerinden ortaya</p><p>koyulmuş olacaktır.</p><p>Anahtar Kelimeler: Avrasya, Göç, Amerika, Meluncan</p><p>ABSTRACT</p><p>Throughout history, immigrations have caused major events that affected the world and</p><p>the people living on it. One of the immigrations that caused major changes among these</p><p>KARABAKH 4th International Scientific Research Congress</p><p>199</p><p>migrations was the migrations that took place after the discovery of the American continent by</p><p>Europeans in the 15th century. One of the notable immigrations among these immigrations is the</p><p>immigrations to America, which included Europe and Asia in the geography called Eurasia, and</p><p>the people and nations in this area, and the Melungeon society, one of the communities formed</p><p>in North America as a result of these migrations. In this regard, examining the formation of the</p><p>Melungeon society, which was formed as a result of immigrations from Eurasia to America, and</p><p>the theories regarding its definition as a result of these formations, are important in the context of</p><p>understanding the community itself and the America-Eurasia bond.</p><p>Since the Melungeons formed due to immigrations were also connected to the colonies</p><p>formed immediately after the discovery of the American continent, theoretical information on</p><p>immigration and immigration studies will be presented in order to understand the immigrations.</p><p>Then, historical information will be given about the periods of immigration in order to</p><p>understand the situation of the communities and nations in Eurasia and the existing societies and</p><p>the forming communities in North America during the periods of immigration. Following this</p><p>information, in order to understand the definition and formation of the Melungeon community,</p><p>information about the communities and nations that immigrated to America from the Eurasian</p><p>geography related to the community will be presented. In the light of this information, the</p><p>emergence of the term Melungeon, its meaning, and the definitions and descriptions put forward</p><p>about the community and the theories put forward about the formation and development of the</p><p>society will be examined in order to gain a mastery of different theories about Melungeons.</p><p>Thus, the immigrations from Eurasia to America, the Melungeons, one of the communities</p><p>formed in line with these immigrations, and the theories regarding this formation and</p><p>community, and the relevance and impact of all these on the Eurasian geography and the US</p><p>geography will be revealed.</p><p>In conclusion, immigration, geography and community concerning North America and</p><p>Eurasia will be emphasized. It will focus on the Melungeon society that was formed within the</p><p>framework of all these facts, and evaluations will be made on the definition and theories of the</p><p>Melungeons. Thus, in the light of all this information and evaluations, the impact and result of</p><p>the immigration concerning the geography of Eurasia and North America in the context of the</p><p>Melungeons will be revealed through this community.</p><p>Keywords: Euroasia, Immigration, America, Melungeon</p><p><br></p>
