Özet
Macro invertebrate communities and environmental variables were assessed in the Kucuk Menderes coastal wetland area. The delta of the Kucuk Menderes River is considered one of the important bird areas of Turkey and is accepted as a B class wetland area by the international Ramsar Convention. In this paper we present and analyze the dominance and distribution patterns of assemblages of macro invertebrates in the wetland area of the Kucuk Menderes River and relate them to environmental factors using classification and ordination techniques.
