Özet

Today, the restoration of missing anterior teeth presents both aesthetic and functional challenges for clinicians. With the advancement of adhesive techniques, invasive restorative procedures have given way to non-invasive approaches. In this case series, a non-invasive method of glass fiber-reinforced composite bridge is utilized for the restoration of anterior impacted teeth. This study describes the treatment of patients complaining of a single missing tooth in the anterior region with glass fiber reinforced composite bridge application. Following clinical and radiographic examinations, anterior impacted teeth and broken implants were identified. As surgery was not indicated, these areas was determined to be restored with a glass fiber-reinforced composite bridge. The adhesive procedure was applied using known methods without any preparation The flowable composite was then applied, followed by pre-wetted glass fiber cut to the desired length and light polymerized. Afterwards, composite resin was applied and the missing tooth body was shaped. Occlusion was controlled, followed by finishing and polishing procedures. Patients were scheduled control appointments. Glass fiber-reinforced composite restorations have become one of the permanent restoration options for single anterior tooth deficiencies with advantages such as a minimally invasive approach, being applied in a single appointment, easy repair and high patient satisfaction. Fiber restorations, applied in accordance with appropriate case selection and clinical adhesive protocols, represent an effective method for achieving successful results.
