Özet
Female labour force is regarded as low-cost labour. So it has a competitive advantage in export markets. Especially developing economics trend to have a competitive advantage in terms of labour-intensive industries and they realize it by female labour force. The textile and clothing sector has been one of the most important industrial employers of female labour. As clothing sector was a labour-intensive sector, it was kept lots of female labour force. This has enhanced the social and economic status of women.
