Özet
REHABILITASYON HEMSIRELIĞINDE HORTIKULTUREL TERAPI OZET Rehabilitasyon hemsireligi alaninda uygulanan ve kokeni eski caglara kadar uzanan yontemlerden birisi olan hortikulturel terapi; spesifik tedavi hedeflerine ulasmak ve iyilik durumunu arttirmak icin meyve, sebze, cicek gibi bitkilerin kullanilmasi sureci olarak tanimlanmaktadir. Bu terapi; kazalar, sosyal ve ekonomik sorunlar, gelisme bozukluklari, yaslilik ile olusan yeti kayiplari, stres, inme, serebral palsi, kanser, edinsel immun yetmezlik sendromu ( AIDS) gibi durumlarda her yas grubundaki bireyin yapabilecegi aktiviteler butunu olarak ifade edilmektedir. Bilissel, fiziksel, sosyal, emosyonel acidan yararli olmakta ve eglence katkisi saglamaktadir. Boylece beden, zihin ve spirituel olarak iyilesme saglanirken, tedaviye uyum arttirilmakta, sakinlestirici ve agri kesici etkiler olusmaktadir. Bu derlemede amac; egitici, bakim verici, danisman, bakim koordinatoru, hasta haklari savunucusu ve arastirmaci gibi rolleri bulunan rehabilitasyon hemsireliginde nispeten yeni bir kavram olan hortikulturel terapinin yerini aciklamaktir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Rehabilitasyon, Hemsirelik, Hortikulturel Terapi HORTICULTURAL THERAPY IN REHABILITATION NURSING ABSTRACT Horticultural therapy, one of the methods of rehabilitation nursing and from the ancient eras is defined as the use of plants such as fruits, vegetables, flowers to achieve specific treatment goals and increase the well-being. This therapy is expressed as a whole of the activities that the individuals in any age can do in cases such as accidents, social and economic problems, developmental deficiencies, loss of ability due to elderly, stress, stroke, cerebral palsy, cancer, AIDS. It is useful in fields of cognitive, physical, social, emotional and provides entertainment. In addition to providing body, mind and spiritual healing, treatment compliance is enhanced, calming and painful effects occur. The aim of the review is to explain the place of horticultural therapies that a relatively new concept in rehabilitation nursing with roles such as trainer, caregiver, consultant, care coordinator, patient rights advocate and researcher.
