Summary
Background: The high incidence of ventricular arrhythmias in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) is well documented. However, few studies have been conducted on the prevalence of ventricular arrhythmias in patients with isolated systolic hypertension without LVH.
