Summary

(Abstracted from Gynecol Oncol 2021;161:396–401) Surgical complete tumor resection is the strongest prognostic factor for patients with ovarian cancer; however, frailty is common among this population, which raises concerns for surgical outcomes and recovery. Alternative therapies such as neoadjuvant therapy are available, and identification of the frail patient can assist with identification of the appropriate treatment.
