Özet
<p>Both as a student myself once and a teacher at present, I have always felt that speaking is the most challenging skill to develop in an EFL class, not that speaking requires more hours of study than other skills. After all, we start speaking as early as one year old, and by analogy I would argue that learning how to speak a foreign language should not be that hard. However, speaking a foreign language involves a complex process where not only linguistic but also cognitive, affective and social factors come into play. It is this multifaceted nature of speaking that makes it hard to develop, and which has always led me to try out new techniques in my classes. <br></p>
