Head and mesosoma black with dorsally golden-green metallic luster; scape black with red iridescence, pale yellow distally, pedicel brown in basal half and pale yellow in distal half, funicle and clava yellowish-brown; anterior half of tegula white and posterior half brown; fore wing hyaline, venation light brown; legs black, coxae black with metallic green reflections, joints yellow, all femora and tibia basally black, last tarsomeres brown; gaster black with reddish-green iridescence; wings hyaline, with brownish veins. Head (Fig. 6A, E) uniformly reticulate, with finer reticulation in scrobe; head about 1.1 × as wide as long, nearly 2.7 × as wide as frontovertex (Fig. 6A), 0.5 × longer than broad dorsally (Fig. 6E); malar space about 0.33 × eye maximum length (Fig. 6A); ocelli forming an angle of about 80°; OOL about 0.2 × as long as AOD, POL about 3.3 × as long as AOD, OCL about 1.1 × as long as AOD, LOL about 2.1 × as long as AOD, POL about 16 × as long as OOL (Fig. 6E). Antenna (Fig. 6C). Antennal scape slender, 5.4 × as long as broad, fu 1 about 1.4 × as long as broad and about 0.75 × as long as pedicel; fu 2 –fu 6 × as long as broad; clavomeres fused, slightly concave ventrally, about 2.32 × as long as broad, as long as fu 3 –fu 6 combined, sutures of clava parallel. Mesosoma (Fig. 6D). About 1.2× as long as broad, mesoscutum as long as broad; mesoscutellum almost 1.1× as long as broad; sculpture on mesoscutum and mesoscutellum similar, mesoscutum reticulated, with rounded polygonal cells, mesoscutellum reticulation with little elongated, but with wide cells similar to that of mesoscutum, axilla with finer reticulation, axillae joining medially; tegula finely reticulate. Fore wing (Fig. 6B, F) fully developed, reaching far beyond apex of gaster, 1.5 × as long as broad; pmv rudimentary, not more than 0.5 × as long as stv, mv 1.5× as long as broad. Metasoma. Metasoma oval, shorter than mesosoma, about half as long as mesosoma + head; gaster superficially reticulated, with ovipositor not exserted or hardly so; hypopygium reaching apex of gaster. Male (Fig. 5B). Body length 1.1–1.3 mm. Similar to female but body mainly with metallic green reflections, tegula whitish-yellow, legs including fore coxae yellow, with slight brownish band of femora, antenna yellow; scape about 2.5× as long as broad, pedicel transverse, fu 1 the longest and slightly swollen, fu 2 –fu 5 equal in length, asymmetrical, with dorsal projections, clava 2× as long as broad fu 6 Hosts. We reared this species from infested saxaul seeds (Fig. 1B) but failed to rear its host. However, two psyllid species (Hempitera: Aphalaridae): Caillardia notata Loginova (Japoshvili & Hansen 2013; Trjapitzin 1989) and Caillardia robusta Loginova (Japoshvili & Hansen 2013; Trjapitzin 1989; Zou et al. 2023) are the primary hosts of this species and could have gone unnoticed during our rearings. Geographical distribution: Only Palaearctic region: China, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Norway, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan (UCD Community 2023) and Iran (New record).
