Özet
The paper ‘The WISE view of RV Tauri stars’ was published in MNRAS, 453, 133 (2015). The paper focuses on observational properties of Galactic RV Tauri stars. However, we realized that from the 171 stars we selected from General Catalogue of Variable Stars (GCVS), 18 are not Galactic but members of the Large or Small Magellanic Cloud. In sections 1, 3 and 5, the numbers of objects in the different IR categories need adjustments. The correct values read that there are 153 RV Tauri variables in our Galaxy, 25 of them are misclassified objects, 29 (23 per cent) are disc sources, 63 (50 per cent) are non-IR sources and 34 (27 per cent) of them are uncertain. These correct values do not change our basic scientific result. Figs 5, 6, 7 and 9 are, however, affected. We give the correct figures below. We also give the correct list of Galactic RV Tauri stars as online material. Three different types of SED characteristics among the Galactic RV Tauri stars and probably misclassified RV Tauri stars are represented here with different symbols. WISE [12]−[22], [3.4]−[4.6] colour–colour diagram of the merged reference+RV Tauri sample. Confirmed binaries are shown in blue. Photometric classification is represented with different colours in the WISE colour–colour diagram. Depletion quantifications are shown with different colours for the Galactic RV Tauri stars.
