Özet
Pregnancy-related low back pain is a common condition that adversely affects maternal quality of life and functional capacity. Limited pharmacological treatment options increase the need for safe, non-invasive approaches. This review examined the effectiveness of kinesiology taping in managing pregnancy-related low back pain. Current evidence suggests that kinesiology taping may reduce pain intensity and functional disability in the short term. However, the certainty of the evidence is limited due to short follow-up periods and methodological heterogeneity. In conclusion, kinesiology taping may be considered an alternative or complementary conservative approach; however, more rigorous studies are needed to determine its long-term effectiveness and standardize application protocols.
