Age and sex are among the major physiologkal factors affeding serum enzyme activities.Accordingly ,refe:rence ranges are established for different age and sex groups.In this a:rtide, :recent studies on some of the common enzymes in pediatric pradke are reviewed and diffe:rences in pediat:rk reference ranges of these enzymes from adults are emphasized.
