Özet
In this chapter, additive manufacturing printing technologies in the healthcare industry emphasized details in the concept of 3D and 4D bioprinting, especially for drug delivery applications. Also, this chapter includes the ‘from idea to clinic’ concept, which illustrates clearly the focus on the commercialization, market potential, industrial standpoint, and regulatory bodies’ perspectives on developments in drug delivery systems.
