Özet
Culture of brown trout (Salmo trutta fario Linnaeus, 1758) in seawater.Brown trout (Salmo trutta fario Linnaeus, 1758) shows fairly good survival and growth rate even in summer when it is transfered to the sea where high salinity conditions exist.Many investigations has been done related with this subject.After all this experiments, it has been accepted that brook trout (40 gr) can be transfered in to the sea having 35‰ salinity.This species can be cultured on the coasts of Black Sea, Marmara Sea and Aegean Sea of Turkey.In this article, literature knowledge on the mariculture of Brown trout was given.
