Özet
Nowadays, with the increasing negative impact of industrialization on natural resources and environment, the importance of local seeds and local peasant agriculture is becoming more and more obvious. Encouraging producers in using local seeds is a crucial step for promoting sustainable agriculture in Hevsel Gardens, which play an important role for Diyarbakir besides its historical and agricultural significance.
