Özet
Internet of Things (IOT) is a popular field in both academia and industry. One of the major challenging issues in IOT is sending data in the most efficient way. For this reason, IETF formed the ROLL (Routing Over Low Power and Lossy Networks) working group to standardize the routing efforts to transmit data through the least number of nodes along the highest quality and lossless paths. ROLL group developed the RPL (IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks) protocol to convey packets through the most efficient path. RPL has two objective functions namely Object Function Zero (OF0) and The Minimum Rank with Hysteresis Objective Function (MRHOF). In this study, we firstly compared the packet delivery rate, energy consumption and network latency performances of MRHOF and OF0 objective functions for various packet reception ratios. Then, we analyzed the effect of DIO interval min and DIO Doubling parameters on the performance of RPL
