Özet

This case report describes the anterior esthetic rehabilitation of two patients with I-veneer clear templates. Two female patients (35-years-old and 23-years-old) applied to the Department of Restorative Dentistry of Ege University Faculty of Dentistry for the esthetic rehabilitation of their maxillary anterior teeth. Their deficient fillings and caries were removed, and their teeth were restored at the first appointment. At the second appointment, stripping was performed on proximal surfaced of the teeth to be veneered and I-veneer templates (GC Dental, Japan) were adapted. After buccal bevelling, etching and adhesive system application were performed (G-Premio Bond, GC). A high-filled flowable composite resin (G-aenial Universal Flow, GC) was injected through the buccal gap and polymerized for 20 seconds. This process was repeated for all the teeth and finishing/polishing was performed. The I-veneer system is suitable for maxillary canines and incisors and is marketed to be used with highly filled flowable composite resins. The use of clear template systems allow the dentist to perform faster and accurately shaped restorations (Lowe, 2015) for patients unable to afford ceramic veneers (Turkun, 2023). Our study supports Turkun's and Lowe's findings; however, template systems have limitations like the use of single shade and difficulty with tight contact adaptations. Patients' esthetic restorations were completed using the I-veneer system. One week later, the necessary corrections and contours were performed, and the patients were happy with the results.
