Özet
Early-career professionals (ECPs) often face distinct challenges during their transition from fellowship to clinical or academic careers, including limited access to mentorship, unequal training opportunities and difficulties establishing research collaborations [1, 2]. Recognizing these unmet needs, various specialties have launched early-career networks (ECNs) that promote professional development and scientific cooperation while building sustainable platforms to shape the future of their disciplines. A prime example is the Emerging EULAR NETwork (EMEUNET), which has evolved into a leading international community that provides mentoring, education and collaboration opportunities and serves as a global model for other ECNs [3]. However, local landscapes shaped by country-specific training structures, resources and cultural expectations require context-sensitive approaches [4–6]. In this editorial, we describe the rationale, needs assessment, organizational design and early implementation lessons from establishing TRD-G as a national ECN in rheumatology in Türkiye.
