Effects of Juveni le Hormone Analogues on the developmentof same useful insects.II.Effect on the larval development of Coccinella septempunctata L.Effe.cts of ZR-512 (Altozar) was examined on the larval development of Cocctnella septempunctata L. (CaL., Coccinellidae) by topically and indirecfly.350 ppm dose of ZR-512 was applied by topically (2 il g/larva) on the dorsum of larvae that were at the desired instars of development.The same dose was applied (1 il gl aphid) to the first instar of AcyrthQsiphon pisum (Harr.)(Horn., Aphididae) and these nymphs were given as a food to the all stages of coccinellid Iarvae (20 aphid/larva) .C. septempunctata is sensrtive to ZR-512 in the third larval instar by topical treatment (Table 1).The affected Iarvae usually die (% 40) after treatment (% 30)or during ecdysing from the third to the forth (% 10) ınstar.There is not any significant effect by indireet treatment (Table 2).
