To evaluate the success of fiber post treatments with clinical and radiographical examinations. Twenty-two permanent teeth with excessive coronary material loss belonging to nineteen patients were included. Root canal preparations were applied with ScopeRS files with X-Smart Plus Endomotor (Dentsply-Sirona/Germany).In the final irrigation, 17%EDTA, 2.5%NaOCl,distilled water and 2%chlorhexidine were used. Root canal obturations were performed with resin-based sealer with cold lateral compaction and single cone techniques. After post cavity preparations, coronary access was etched with 37%orthophosphoric acid, irrigated and dried. Reforpost-glass fiber post (Angelus, Londrina, PR, Brazil) was cemented with Panavia SA cement(Kuraray Noritake, Japan). Composite resin was used for the core structure and all teeth were restored as a single crown or bridge abutment. Success was evaluated with comparing final and control radiographs according to Periapical Index(PAI) scores and with clinical examinations. The effects of age and gender on success were examined. Data were analyzed statistically using Kaplan-Meier and Log Rank tests(α=.05). At final control radiographs, teeth with PAI 1 and 2 scores or with healing in periapical lesion sizes and asymptomatic in clinical examination considered as successful. It was determined that 19 teeth were successful and in one of the three cases determined as unsuccessful, the existing periapical lesion did not heal, and in two cases, the presence of clinical symptoms was determined as the reason for failure. A statistically significant success was found between post-treatment and final follow-up radiographs(p<0.5)The Log Rank analysis showed there was no relationship between age, gender, and success(p>0.5). Successful results can be achieved with fiber post applications following by endodontic treatments.
