Özet
In the last decade, ıt has been shown that the onset of angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, sudden death and stroke are related with the daily changes in the heart rate and the blood pressure.One of the important things that should be taken into consideration in the treatment of hypertension is to prevent the increase of the moming blood pressure by the drug which was taken the day before.This event can be achieved by taking the drug twice daily.If the drug is to be taken once a day, its effect should continue for twenty four hours.(Key words: Antihypertensive Therapy, Bioryhtms) ÖZET Kalb atım sayısı ve kan basıncındaki günlük deği~ikliklerin angina pektoris, miyokard infarktüsü, ani kalb ölümleri ve inme olu~masında saptanan sirkadiyen ritimle ilgili olduğu son on yılda yapılan çalı~malarla gösterilmi~tir.Hipertansiyon tedavisinde göz önüne alınacak en önemli hususlardan biri, sabah saptanan yükselmelerin bir önceki gün alınan ilaçla önlenebilmesidir.Bu husus ilacı günde iki kez kullanarak elde edilebilir.Günde tek doz alınacak ilacın bu etkisini 24 saat sürdürmesi gerekir.
