Özet

In this study, it was aimed to examine the partial mediating effect of organizational culture in the relationship between organizational trust levels and organizational citizenship behaviors of secondary school teachers. It was proposed that teachers' organizational trust levels may affect their organizational citizenship behaviors and organizational culture may have a partial mediating effect in this relationship. A model that shows the possible relationships among variables was constructed and this measurement model was tested by structural equation modeling. Three different instruments were administered to 871 secondary school teachers that work in Izmir in order to collect data about their organizational trust levels, organizational culture perceptions and organizational citizenship behaviors. Results of structural equation modeling supported the proposed model. Based on these findings, it can be said that teachers' organizational trust levels affect their organizational citizenship behaviors and organizational culture variable is a partially mediating variable in this relationship. Also, the results of the bootstrapping analysis showed that the indirect relation was statistically significant.
