Summary
To study the effect of supplementation of antibiotic, prebiotic and an enzyme mixture on growth and nutrient utilization, 48 day-old chicks were divided into 4 groups (6 males, 6 females) and fed on, a standard ration with either no supplementation (C) or supplementation with antibiotic (CA), prebiotic (CP) or enzyme mixture (CE). Nutrient utilization was not affected by supplementation but excreta, viscosity decreased on prebiotic and enzyme mixture supplementation. Compared to C and CA feed, efficiency improved in CP and CE.
