Summary
In this study ionic platinum(II) complexes of the general formula [Pt(dcpe)(L-L)]Cl2, where dcpe=Cy2PCH2CH2PCy2, Cy=cyclohexyl(C6H11), L-L=Ph2P(CH2)nPPh2, n = 1 (dppm), n = 2 (dppe), n = 3 (dppp) have been synthesised and characterized by 31P{1H}-nmr, ir, uv-visible and conductance data.
