Özet
An experiment was conducted to determine the relationship of oviposition time to egg weight and egg shell quality in unselected and body weight selected lines of Japanese quail. Egg weight was significantly affected by genetic line, specific gravity of eggs and weight of shell per unit surface area were influenced by oviposition time. Zum Einfluß der Legezeit auf die Eiqualitätsmerkmale von Wachteln (Coturnix coturnix japonica), die auf 4 Wochenlebendgewichten selektiert waren Bei Wachteln, die auf das 4 Wochen-Gewicht selektiert waren, wurde der Einfluß von Legezeit auf Eigewicht und Eischalenqualität untersucht. Das Eigewicht wurde durch die Wachtellinien signifikant beeinflußt (P < 0,05), das spezifische Gewicht und das Schalengewicht Legezeit abhängig (P < 0.05).
