Summary
<p>In this study, an exemplary application of the photovoltaic system, which was established in consideration of the solar energy potential of Manisa province Turgutlu district, for the purpose of eliminating the energy requirement in agricultural buildings has been examined. PV system has provided 76,757 kWh of electricity for 22 months. Although the production value differs according to the month, in both the years 2016 and 2017, April has the highest rate of electricity production in the year and the highest rate of electricity production to the estimated electricity production. In case the FVGS installation is done correctly and the energy consumption used in the internal agricultural mechanization is known, the FVGS will be suitable for agricultural usage. In addition, the difference between the electricity generation and the estimated electricity generation and the difference between the PV system’s incline angle and the optimum incline angle is 47.1%. </p>
