<p>ABSTRACTPulmonarycomplicationsmayoccurafterhematopoieticstemcelltransplantationforhemato-logicmalignancies.Lungtransplantationistheonlytreatmentoptionforend-stagelungfailure.Wepresentedacaseofacutemyeloidleukemiawhoreceivedahematopoieticstemcelltrans-plantationandunderwentbilaterallungtransplantationwithend-stageusualinterstitialpneumo-niaandchronicobstructivelungdisease.Thiscaseshowedthatlungtransplantationcouldbesuccessfullyappliedinproperlyselectedhematologicmalignancypatientswithlongdisease-freesurvival,likelungtransplantationsperformedforotherindications.</p>
