Özet
One of most interesting oral and literary creations is the epic works. Epic creations of the Turkish people have attracted both Turkish and foreign scholars. The research and studies on the Turkish epics have become very large that requires a study of bibliography. While the increase on the Turkish epic studies, the usage of some of the important terms has become vital. Therefore, it is important to know and evaluate some of the most common terms, at least, for the students of the epic studies. The aim of this article is not more than the to provide the basic meanings and some personal arguments on those widely used terms.
