Özet
The phytoplanktonic species diversity variations in the Bay of Izmir between the years 1998-2001.In this study, the phytoplanktonic species diversity variations were investigated vertically and quantitavely in there stations located in the inner , middle and outer bay of Izmir in 1998-2001 years.It was determined that statistically significant positive increases in the species diversity occured after the waste water treatment activities.Student's t-tests and discriminant analyses realized among the stations and years gave statistically significant differences at p<0.05 probability level.These results indicated that the considerable improvements should be expected in the next years.
