Summary
Background. Analysis of the prognostic effect of concomitant use of left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) and implantable -cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) is lacking. The aim of this study is to define the survival effects of ICD therapy in ambulatory patients with LVAD.
