Özet
Technology, which gained momentum rapidly in the 20th century, also affected life practices, cultural and sociological approaches; It has also brought about radical changes in the way of thinking and perception. With this change and transformation phenomenon, it is observed that literary thinking lags behind visual thinking in intellectual and daily life practices. Poster design, which is one of the important elements of visual communication, maintains its attractiveness and importance in today's digital world as an important mass communication tool of the visual culture of the last two centuries. Beyond being a promotional tool, the poster stands out as a social, cultural, stylistic, social and political mirror of the period or region in which it was produced, as well as an important tool that affects the masses. The poster, one of the main purposes of which is to convey meaning, is also considered as a product of art in the context of meaning integrity. The poster, with its visual elements such as photography, illustration, typography, symbol-symbol, constructs a message aesthetically and brings it together with the audience. In this context, poster art, like many art products, is an important communication tool in terms of preserving, preserving and remembering the historical experiences of the society. Therefore, it can be said that poster art has the role of a memory trigger for individual and collective memory in the context of the culture of remembering. In this study, the social-political poster designs of Yossi Lemel, one of the important graphic artists of our time, who shape the graphic design studies through memory, will be examined. The posters of the artist will be examined on the axis of "memory" with Sassure's semiotic analysis method. In this context, the concepts of memory, storage, recall and reminder will be discussed.
