Özet
In this chapter, first of all, polymers will be briefly mentioned, followed by the basis of molecular imprinting technique and molecular imprinting synthesis methods. Applications of molecular imprinted polymers will also be exemplified. Later on nanostructures will be examined with particular emphasis on polymeric nanostructures. The chapter will also include various medical applications where polymeric nanostructures are used as bioactive layer in biosensors. In this regard, molecular imprinted polymeric nanostructures will be thoroughly analyzed. The final part of the chapter will focus on current applications of biosensors in disease diagnostic.
