Summary
A quantitative determination of alpha-tocopherol in Globularia alypum L. was established by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-UV method. The investigations were carried out to evaluate the alpha-tocopherol content of the extracts from the air-dried aerial parts and the leaves of the plant. The calibration curve was used to calculate the content of the alpha-tocopherol, which was estimated as 0.002% and 0.0007% on the dried weight of the leaves and the aerial parts of G. alypum.
