Özet
The effect of formaldehyde baths on Trichodiniasis of juvenile Sea Bream (Sparus aurata L., 1758).This research was carried out in order to determine the reason of mortality in sea bream (S. aurata L.) fry.The moribund fish was investigated in parasitological and bacteriological point of view.Trichodina spp. was found responsible from high mortality.Fishies were exposed to different dose and periods of formaldehyde baths to show effectivity of formaldehyde.Fishies were successfully treated with formaldehyde bath (100 ppm, 30 minutes).After formaldehyde applications the mortality stopped.
