Özet
There should be three dimensions in studying folklore. The first dimension is about "determining", the second is "collecting", and the third dimension is "representing" and "presenting". In the first dimension, the definition of folklore and folklore genres what is included in folklore is determined. In the second, the genres and folk creations are collected, classified and archived. In the third dimension of folklore studies, it has to be discussed and determined about which folk creations should be taken up from regional to national, and national to international level to represent Turkish folklore, and also what are the criteria while selecting those items. It must also be discussed who will present and what kind of presentation methods will be used for presenting those items. This article will raise and try to answer above questions.
