<p><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:TR;mso-fareast-language: AR-SA;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">The objective of this study was to evaluate performances of some submersible pumps used in agricultural irrigation. For this purpose, 47 submersible pumps with different outlet pipe diameter (2"-6") and motor power (3-55 kW) were considered in the study. Experiments were carried out at special tests stands at Ege University. As a result, 2"-6" outlet diameter submersible pumps which are used for agricultural purposes can be classified as low, medium, good and very good according to engine power and system efficiency. In addition, it has been recommended that tested pumps must be in the middle class in order to take a positive report for agricultural use.</span><br></p>
