Özet

The Internet of Flying Things (IoFT) comprises a network of interconnected aerial devices, including drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and other airborne objects. IoFT operating in the Terahertz (THz) band will be crucial for 6 G in achieving full geographic coverage, high data rate communication, and centimeter-level geolocation accuracy in harsh environments. This study examines the disruption analysis of communication between users and UAV-assisted base stations operating in the THz band, particularly in disaster scenarios where conventional communication infrastructure is compromised. The research highlights the significant challenge posed by high absorption loss in the THz band. The results indicate that higher antenna power and gain reduce the probability of outage, while increasing UAV distance leads to greater path loss and an increased probability of outage. The study also emphasizes the effect of different atmospheric models on THz communications, underscoring the importance of environmental conditions in designing and deploying UAV-assisted THz base stations in IoFT. The study concludes that UAVs operate more efficiently at higher altitudes and under favorable weather conditions.
